Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all my little friends!

I hope you are all being good and doing what your mum and dad tell you. I'm always a good lion, and I do what I'm told nearly all the time. Grandma said I'd been very good, so she got me some yummy Easter treats!

This one is a big easter egg called Roses. Funny, I thought roses were flowers, but these ones are made of chocolate. The egg is nearly as big as me!

I also got some Chicky Choccy mini eggs (I love those!) and a cute chocolate bunny with yellow cream inside. Grandma got them from some people called Mark and Spencer. Well, I know Spencer - he's one of my little buddies - but I don't know who Mark is. Maybe Grandma got it wrong, although she is usually right about most things. Anyway, I have all this chocolate, which is probably a bit too much for a little lion like me, so I'll probably share it with Grandma and Grandad. I'll have to make sure Grandad doesn't eat it all, though!

I hope some of you have got some nice Easter eggs, even my little friends in the USA. They don't really sell chocolate eggs over there, but I hope you get something nice, anyway. While you are eating your eggs, remember why we have Easter. It's to help us to remember the time when Jesus died, then came back to life again, so that we can all get to Heaven if we are good.

I found this nice picture of Jesus with some little kids. I wonder if He ever got any Easter eggs? Grandad says he doesn't think so.
A funny thing happened here in Dubai this week. We got some rain. Now, you probably think, what's funny about that? I know some of you get a LOT of rain, and in fact some of you have got some SNOW! Brrrr! That isn't very funny, is it? But Dubai doesn't get very much rain, so it is quite unusual. Remember the big tower, the Burj Khalifa? Here is a picture of it with the top covered in rain clouds.

If any of you have pictures of yourselves playing in the snow, please send them to Grandma and she can put the pictures on my blog. Also, if you have pictures of you with your Easter goodies, we could put those on, as well. Would you like to have your pictures on my blog? I think it would be nice.

Well, this is just a short blog this time. I hope I will have a longer one next time and I hope I will have some pictures of you all to put on. Until then, have a very nice Easter, and be good. I love all my little buddies and I miss you all. Until next time,

Bye for now

Hello, my little friends!

As you can see from this picture, we had a visit from Uncle Brad. We had a lot of fun, and went to lots of great places. We went on a bus tour around Dubai, and saw a lot of nice buildings and other places.

This is the bus we went on. It's a funny bus, because the top deck has no roof on it. I nearly fell off once! We stopped at a place called Wafi which has lots of Egyptian things.

We also went to the beach, which I loved! Uncle Brad went swimming, but I didn't. I thought people might get a bit scared if they saw a lion swimming. I was only sunbathing but I still got some funny looks! But at least I got to top up my sun tan. See how brown I am now?

I like the building in the background. It's shaped like a sailboat but it's really a very big hotel. In fact, it's one of the biggest hotels in the world! And there were a lot of very fancy boats parked outside. Grandma says that only people with lots of money get to stay there, so I had better start saving up my pennies.

I also went up the tallest building in the world. Wow, that was great! The elevator went SOOO fast! My little lion ears went pop on the way up, but it was worth it to see the view from up there. We could see for miles and miles, and all the big tall buildings looked quite small from up there.

Uncle Brad has gone back home now, but next time you see him, just ask him about his holiday. I'm sure he will tell you all about it.

I hope all of you are well and happy, and those of you who go to school, I hope you are being good and learning lots of things. Don't forget, you can add comments to my blog, even if it's just to say hello. I am missing you all out here, but it won't be too long before I go back to England and can see some of you. I hope you like all the nice pictures here. Here's a final one for you. This is the view of the building I live in, from the top of the very big tower.

Time to go now, so until the next blog, I'll say goodbye for now.

Lots of love from your little buddy Brian xx
